So, why are thousands of people world wide choosing the CEREC restorative technique for their dental needs?

Single Appointment Dental Care. Traditional crowns require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first appointment, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, possibly get anesthesia again, have the temporary removed and have a permanent restoration cemented on. With CEREC, the procedure is done in a single appointment, start to finish.

Finest Dental Materials. A CEREC tooth restoration isn't just convenient, it is also healthy. Many years ago, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam (silver fillings), gold and other metals. With CEREC, we can use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure. This means when you eat hot food and then drink something cold, the restoration and tooth expand and contract at almost equal rates, which prevents cracking. Also, the materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, so we can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth.

Worldwide, a CEREC restoration is placed every 20 seconds. With a history of nearly 20 years, this equipment has helped dentists place over 6 million restorations. Using metal free materials that are the closest to your natural enamel, CEREC gives you the highest quality restorative care. Call us today about single visit CEREC restorative care!

Digital Imaging: Using special computer software, we are able to make changes to a picture of your smile digitally, so you can preview the possible results of treatment before any work is done. An excellent tool for designing that smile that’s just right for you!

Bonding: Bonding encompasses a number of procedures where composite resins (white fillings) are applied to the tooth to close gaps, repair chips, fractures and worn edges, protect exposed root surfaces and replace decayed tooth structure (also called composite fillings).

Esthetic re-contouring: A process where natural teeth are reshaped to improve their overall appearance. When teeth are uneven, slightly crowded, chipped or worn, enamel reshaping may be used to correct the flaw.

Implant Restoration: The fabrication of a crown designed to fit on an implant. The implant (root like fixture) is generally placed by an oral surgeon, periodontist or prosthodontist.

Removable Partial Dentures: A removable denture that is held in place and supported by the remaining teeth and soft tissues. It is a less expensive alternative to fixed bridges for the replacement of missing teeth.

Protective Sports Guards: Custom-fitted mouth guards are made on a model of your teeth. These sports guards are the better fitting, smaller and easier to talk and breath with compared to the traditional one size fits all or the boil and bite ones. They offer the most protection to the teeth, gums and lips, which is important as current studies have shown that 1 in 3 people will sustain some sort of dental injury to the front teeth!

Bruxism and Grinding Appliances: Bruxism refers to subconscious, nonfunctional grinding of the teeth. This commonly occurs during sleep but may also occur during the day. Bruxism can play a significant roll in TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder). Bruxing appliances are fabricated to physically protect the teeth and depending on the situation, provide an optimal occlusal (bite) relationship or reposition the jaws in relationship to one another. Bruxism therapy can be effective in helping deal with jaw muscle and jaw joint (TMJ) problems.

Tooth Whitening (Bleaching): Tooth whitening or bleaching is a procedure that lightens teeth that are discolored, stained or have been darkened as a result of injury. It can be performed on an individual tooth or all the teeth. We simply fabricate a custom tray made on models of your teeth, in which a prescribed bleaching gel is loaded into. The trays are worn at home on a daily basis for normally 2-3 weeks to complete the process. For more information see the resource section of our website.

Veneers: Veneers are custom made thin shells of porcelain that cover the front side of the teeth. They are used to enhance and improve your smile by closing spaces, changing the color, covering cracks and small chips, and modifying the tooth shape or position.
